• Marni Fisher
    Student Services Coordinator

    Dr.Fisher’s background includes a doctorate in education with a culture and curriculum studies emphasis, masters degree in Educational Leadership and English with a teaching emphasis, and an MFA in creative writing, clear multiple subject and administrative credentials, 15 years of studio arts, two years of studying math and science, 12 years of K-8 teaching in all subjects, four years of teaching college courses, and six years in administration. She was junior editor for Issues in Teacher Education Journal 2014-2015, has presented over 30 times professionally at conferences, has been a reviewer for two academic journals, published an article and a book, and is part of several more articles and two books scheduled for publication submission this year. In addition to her administrative work at Community Roots Academy, she teaches Education courses at Chapman University and English Composition at Saddleback College.

  • Mariela Rosas
    Operations Associate

    Mariela is the Operations Associate at Community Roots Academy and works directly with Eve Fein, Executive Director of Operations and Resource Development. She comes from a background of performing arts and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Child Development from Cal State Fullerton. Ms. Rosas has experience working with children of all ages in public, charter, and Montessori schools.

  • Paula Bosza

    Ms. Paula Bosza has served as Office Administrator/Executive Secretary for Community Roots Academy since it’s opening in September 2011. Prior to CRA’s opening, Ms. Bosza served on CRA’s Steering Committee. She over saw CRA’s facility procurement and setup of all school systems and infrastructure. Ms. Bosza served for 13 years as a Facility and Office Manager at a local private school. She has experience in facility planning, management, design, operations, safety, maintenance, repair, identification and implementation of energy saving strategies and technology. Ms. Bosza earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from California Polytechnic University, Pomona in landscape architecture. Ms. Bosza has lived in South Orange County with her husband for the past 45 years. Ms. Bosza has 3 grown children.

  • Teresa Romero

    Ms. Teresa Romero has served as the Community Roots Academy Secretary since September 2013.  Ms. Romero came from Tustin Unified School District, after serving 5 years as the Account Clerk in the Accounting Department.  Ms. Romero has 15 plus years of  experience in Customer Service, Accounts Payables, Purchasing and Facilities. Ms. Romero has also worked for the County of Orange for the Social Service Department and Sheriffs Department.  She has experience in the Foster Care, CalWorks and Civil/Small Claims, working with Confidential Cases, Medical and Financial Aid.  Ms. Romero has lived in Orange County in the City of Santa Ana for 34 years.  Ms. Romero has been married for 12 years and has a daughter and a son.
