Dr. Hannah Geddy- President

Dr. Hannah Geddy is the Interim Associate Dean at LaFetra College of Education at La Verne University. She previously served as the Assistant Superintendent of Personnel Services and the Executive Director of Student Services and Technology for Temple City Unified School District. During her 20 plus years in education, she has passionately supported students and teachers in her roles as high school English teacher, coach, site and district administrator. As a champion for equity and inclusion in all of her roles, Dr. Geddy has led the mission to give all students equitable access to digital platforms and resources while providing teachers and site leaders with interactive and collaborative professional development to support meaningful use of technology in the classroom. She holds a BS in business management, master’s degrees in rhetoric and composition and educational administration, and an Ed.D. in organizational leadership.She lives with her family in Tustin, California.

Dr. Sandra Fleming- Secretary

Dr. Sandra Fleming is a clinical adjunct professor at LaFetra College of Education at University of La Verne. She currently teaches in the Preliminary Administrative Services Credential program (PASC) and works closely with the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) to ensure effective, up-to-date instruction within the program. She also taught in the Master’s of Learning and Teaching (MALT) program at the University of Redlands supporting new teachers in successful engagement and instructional strategies. Her research in leadership and emotional intelligence has allowed her to present at various organizations. She previously served as a Principal, Assistant Principal, and teacher in the Etiwanda School District for 20 years. She has been integral in developing successful Universal Design programs within her district and her onsite leadership at three school sites led to those sites being recognized as California Distinguished Schools. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership at California State University, San Bernardino. She earned her doctorate in Organizational Leadership from the University of La Verne.

Stephen Colwell- Member at Large

Stephen is the founder of Completing.com, a business consulting firm specializing in helping start-ups and growth obsessed organizations work smarter and scale faster.  Stephen brings 20+ years of brand strategy, technology, and growth execution experience, guiding and leading high-performance teams nationwide and world wide.  Steve works with founders, executives and leaders across multiple industries including B2B and B2C in media, healthcare, education, fianance, consumer goods, travel and a number of other industries.  

A proven strategist change-agent, Steve is responsible for over $100+ million in revenue for multiple companies.  Stephen cares deeply about helping others achieve more from life.

John Morgan- Member at Large

 

John is a proud parent of two CRA alumnae and a longtime member of the local community. With more than 25 years of professional experience in local government, he brings a strong commitment to civic leadership and public service to the board. John holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from San Diego State University. (new paragraph) Education has always been a core value for John. He is a strong advocate for project-based learning that inspires creativity, builds critical thinking skills, and connects classroom experiences to real-world applications. In his free time, John enjoys spending time outdoors surfing, standup paddling, trail running, gardening, and camping with his family.  He is honored to serve as a trustee and is dedicated to helping CRA students access the best possible learning opportunities.

Dr. Lynn Bogart- Chief Financial Officer

Dr. Lynn Bogart enjoyed a successful public education career teaching and leading in three school districts in Orange County, California including Orange (large K-12), Irvine (large K-12), and Huntington Beach(mid-sized K-8) School Districts. Her educational and administrative career always focused on continuous improvement in student learning for all types of learners as a general and special education Teacher, Reading Specialist, Principal, Curriculum Coordinator, Director of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment and as Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services. For 25 years, Lynn Bogart has provided leadership, staff development, coaching and mentoring to teachers, principals and district office staff to align standards, intended outcomes, curriculum, targeted instruction, and assessment as measured by increasingly more complex local, state and federal accountability systems. Her focus on systemic educational initiatives and designing successful programs has earned schools and districts under her leadership the prestigious National Blue Ribbon, California Distinguished School, and California School Board Association’s Golden Bell awards.

For over a decade, Lynn Bogart has conducted training sessions for the California School Boards Association (CSBA) assisting governance teams in strengthening their roles regarding Student Learning and Achievement throughout California.

Since 2005, Dr. Bogart has served as a Learning Group Leader and Adjunct Professor for the University of LaVerne Doctorate Program in Organizational Leadership. She coaches students regarding leadership concepts, strategies, research, trends; and the practical skills of vision, goal development, planning, facilitation, team development, change and challenges of leaders today. While serving as Academic Dean of Taft University, she developed a Masters in Education program aligned to the California Beginning Teachers and Assessment Program.

Currently retired, Lynn consults and presents for the Administrative Training Program within the Institute for Leadership Development at the Orange County Department of Education. Sessions focus on leadership development in vision, culture, data analysis, goal setting, assessment, planning, change, Professional Learning Communities as well as financial and human resource management leading to participants’ completion of their administrative credential. In addition she assesses administrator performance and provides feedback and coaching involving communications, parent interaction, data assessment, team building, and in-basket activities aligned to criteria developed by the National Association of Secondary School Principals.

Dr. Bogart is respected for her work throughout California. She received her Bachelors Degree from Eastern Michigan University, Masters Degree from Pepperdine University and Doctorate Degree from the University of LaVerne.
