Classroom Environment

Children arrive at school as individuals and then rapidly begin the process of blending into their school community…peers, teachers, other parents, many who spend time with them during their days at school. In this transition from home to school, the child experiences a renewed sense of self.

Studio Environment

Studio spaces are environments designed to offer children daily, in depth, opportunities to explore materials in small groups over a long period of time.

Outdoor Environment

“If a child is to keep alive his inborn sense of wonder without any such gift from the fairies, he needs the companionship of at least one adult who can share it, rediscovering with him the joy, excitement, and mystery of the world we live in.” —Rachel Carson
